Nutrition and Disease
Many of us fault our genes as the reason for our health problems. Medical doctors do the same. They find it easy to put the blame on our genes, instead of figuring out how we acquired the disease. It is true that our genes play a major role in how our body functions and respond to foreign invaders. But that is just half of the story. Let me share with you a brief story that I read from a book, The Schwarzbein Principle. Click here for more.

What You Need To Know About A High Protein Diet
The current trend that has pervaded and continued to be advocated by the bureaucrats in our governmental body, along with a handful of professionals in the medical and health field for several decades now, is a diet high in carbohydrates. Presently, the Department of Health, FDA and others recommend that 55% of our diet come from carbohydrates. What Is The Secret?
While sitting in an airline lounge, waiting for his flight, my husband overheard a conversation between two people who were working there. My husband could not see the other person but the one asking the person was an overweight woman. She asked, “How do you stay so thin, please tell me the secret? Although the response from the other person was not audible to where my husband was seated, he assumed it must have been, “Stop eating and exercise”. The overweight woman responded, “If I don’t eat, I don’t have energy. So, tell me the secret”. Click here for more.

Resolutions, in the business world and in our personal life, are common and are made everyday. We make decisions at any point in time to change or improve on something we are doing or not doing. It Takes Two To Tango Even In Weight Loss! Part 3
Exercise: The Final Act
The benefits of engaging in physical exercise regularly have overtly proven to fight and prevent diseases and obesity. Most people, however, choose to ignore their importance and would prefer the alternatives. The alternatives I am referring to include taking pills or drinks or using body sweat suits to lose weight. The hope is that any of these can take the place of exercise to burn away fat deposits in the body. The truth remains that there is only one way to get rid of the excess fat deposits in our body, and that is to consume it as energy during exercise. Click here for more.

It is widely observed that most of us eat about 12 to 15 different food items over and over again. We may add two or three different items in our selection, but for the most part, we stick to the ones we are familiar with. The issue lies not so much on not eating a wide variety of food, but on the type of food we eat regularly. Click here for more.
